Joko gegen Klaas – Das Duell um die Welt is a German reality series, broadcast on the German television network ProSieben on prime time. In English the show is called Joko vs. Klaas – The Battle for the World .It is a show that pins its two stars against one another in a series of challenges all over the globe. Hosts Joachim ‘Joko’ Winterscheidt and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf give each other a series of outrageous and tough challenges in countries all over the world; they know where they’re going but have no idea what they will have to do until they get there. It is a travel game show and reality series where each host tries to push the other to their limits in an attempt to be crowned the “world champion” by taking on all the obstacles and coming out on top as the one who has won the battle for world domination.

"Beginner vs. Winner" is a snippet from the show "The Best Show in the World" and was originally titled "Being there is expensive." The concept: amateurs compete against professionals in sporting disciplines. In order for the amateurs to have a real chance of winning, the professionals receive handicaps and are therefore clearly restricted in the competition. In the pilot episode within the "best show in the world", for example, swimming professional Markus Deibler had to wear a thick jacket and ski boots in the swimming race against the amateur. If the amateurs win their competitions, they qualify for the grand final.

German adaptation of the US action show "Steve Austin's Broken Skull Challenge". With strength, endurance, physical and mental fortitude, sporting candidates compete against each other in various disciplines in the middle of the Sierra Nevada in the duel mode woman vs. woman and man vs. man. At the end of each programme, one male or female athlete has to compete in the final individual course, the so-called "showdown". There is 10,000 euros to be won per edition. Football expert Patrick "Coach" Esume has been engaged as presenter.
