Suddenly, the lights on stage go out. A group of young people, dressed in black and carrying guns, come up on stage. They apologize for the interruption and invite people from the audience to participate on stage. The play resumes with a main difference; life imitates art and not the opposite.

This mysterious experiences stem from the presence of Angelos, who, having built a time-machine, wanders around in space-time, in order to eliminate those he sees as rivals and to make love to her.

A music composer tries to deposit money in his bank one morning, and is accused of counterfeiting. Harassed by the police, the gang of counterfeiters and a stranger, he becomes panic-stricken. The unjust charge brought against him ignites his deeper feelings of guilt which stem from his sterile existence and, mainly, from his inability to produce creative work. Then he flees and begins wandering in an unfamiliar "country" where his painful adventures will finally prove redeeming. The film is an existential drama in the form of a "dreamlike" thriller.

Together with Yannis, but also on her own nightly excursions to a mysterious, rustic beach bar called Arcadia, they begin to put the pieces of the puzzle together, revealing a haunting story of love, loss, acceptance and letting go.

Some people who believe they really exist are willing to pay large sums for a meeting with them. In Hotel Centaur, located in picturesque surroundings, a group of colourful eccentrics organise a get-together. Young Greek cinema is definitely in a great shape. The story seems to engage in an intriguing dialogue with Jorgos Lanthimos’s films. It is a unique combination of a sublime from, the absurd, the sun and a social satire. The atmosphere and rhythm of the surprising script is intensified by the score composed by sound artist Dimitra Sofroniou.

After the police are notified, a confusing array of red tape manoeuvers begins, revealing the close affiliations of the Authorities with the advertising company manager and the whole mechanism of Mass Media, all of which are trying not to investigate the event but to conceal or even exploit it in their own interest. Only the musician involved in that commercial is trying to figure out what really happened.
