Yes, Boss! is a television, entertainment and gastronomic program broadcast by Prima TV and whose main actor is Zdeněk Pohlreich, as a recognized expert in the field of gastronomy and restaurant management. The theme is the British program Ramsay’s kitchen nightmares, awarded with BAFTA and Grammy awards.Zdeněk Pohlreich’s qualifications and skills intersect with his vocabulary of foul language in the broadcast. The goal of each episode is to help various restaurant establishments improve their cuisine, guest service, the overall impression of the establishment and the attitude of its employees and management, and thus achieve better profits.Due to its popularity in the Czech Republic, the program is also broadcast on Slovak TV JOJ.

Big Brother was a reality TV series shown in the Czech Republic, broadcast by TV Nova. It is also known as Velký Bratr. The Czech version is based on the popular Dutch Big Brother international television series produced by Endemol where a number of contestants, live in an isolated house for a certain period of time. At all times, housemates are under the control of Big Brother, a rule-enforcing authority figure who monitors the behaviour of the housemates, sets tasks and punishments, and provides the only link to the outside world for the contestants. The premiere saw thirteen housemates originally enter the house, with four additional people entering at various point during the programme.The show caused controversity when contestant Filip Trojovský was recognized as gay porn star Tommy Hansen. Also a commercial model, Trjovský starred in a TV spot for a German milk-company prior to entering the house. A German tabloid revealed the scandal, causing the spot to be taken off air. When his past became known, Trojovský became the first person to be evicted, and as a result, the ratings quickly fell. He was quickly reinstated as a housemate a few weeks later. In the end, Trojovský, who started a heterosexual relationship in the house, finished in third place.

Česko hledá SuperStar is the Czech version of Idol series. It is broadcast on Czech TV Nova, first series in spring 2004, the second a year later, the third series in autumn 2006. The show was very popular in 2004, with an audience of more than 3.5 million people; other media attention was also huge. The further series' rating was rather lower. In 2008, the program was superseded by the X Factor. However, Czech broadcaster TV Nova and broadcaster of Slovak version of Idol TV Markíza confirmed that both versions will be joined into one federal. The latest version is called Česko Slovenská Superstar, which started in September 2009.

TV show Superšéf comeback of Zdeňek Pohlreich in big style. During 24 hours he and his team take the restaurant into own hands to fix everything - from the kitchen to redesign of the interior. Each restaurant has its owner and staff and lives its story which Zdeněk tries to uncover, and found out the root of the problem. An important task of a demanding mission is to find out all information about the company in absolute secrecy and subsequently to get to tell found facts to the main actor. The chefs are trained in the mobile kitchen of the Superchief program and the new concept of the whole restaurant is kicked off. Whether or not the business survives after this intervention is a matter of motivation, enthusiasm and work of every individual in the restaurant. The whole team is just as strong as its weakest link.
